With this challenging consulting position, the ideal candidate will set the standard for customer service, organizational skills and team work. You will be self-motivated with a strong passion for customer satisfaction. Not only do you have aspirations to explore the world but you have already experienced many destinations from around the globe.

Essential Skills:

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional time management abilities and organizational skills

  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite and strong computer/keyboarding skills

  • High degree of accuracy with fine details, numbers and the management and safeguarding of personal information

  • Self-disciplined with an ability to work with minimal supervision at times

  • Must have the desire to foster and build client relationships

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines within a rapidly changing electronic environment

  • Be dynamic with an engaging personality and interest in community involvement

  • Strong aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving

  • Completion of a recognized travel certification program would be considered an asset although not essential

  • Prior travel consulting or sales experience would be a benefit although not required

  • Completion of Grade 12 diploma

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain customer database and relationships

  • Consult with clients and offer suitable product suggestions based on specific needs and preferences

  • Complete air, accommodation, cruise, car and package reservations through various industry reservation systems

  • Plan and customize personal travel itineraries and experiences

  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service and quality control

  • Provide accurate and detailed quotes in a timely manner

  • Advise clients with complex travel information including required documentation and visas, insurance options and destination and product information

  • Proactive, self-starter who takes initiative and ownership of the task at hand as well as the success of the company as a whole.

  • Order and rack supplier brochures

  • General office and administrative duties
