About the Role:


We are seeking to fill an additional position with a minimum of 30 hours per week with an anticipated start date of approximately May 1st.  With this challenging, fast paced position, the ideal candidate will require efficiency and accuracy in their tasks and excellent organizational skills. You will be self-motivated with a keen interest in growing your knowledge. Not only do you have aspirations to explore the world but you have already experienced many destinations around the globe and can bring those first-hand accounts and experiences to life.

Essential Skills:

  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Must be able to demonstrate exceptional time management abilities and organizational skills

  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite and strong computer/keyboarding skills

  • High degree of accuracy with fine details, numbers and the management and safeguarding of personal information

  • Acute attention to detail

  • Self-disciplined with an ability to work with minimal supervision at times

  • Must have the desire to foster and build client relationships

  • Ability to prioritize and meet tight timelines within a rapidly changing electronic environment

  • Be dynamic with an engaging personality and interest in community involvement

  • Strong aptitude for creative thinking and problem solving

  • Completion of a recognized travel certification program would be considered an asset although not essential

  • Prior sales experience and customer service would be a benefit.

  • Completion of Grade 12 diploma

 

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain customer relations and database with accuracy

  • Consult with clients and offer suitable product suggestions based on specific needs and preferences

  • Complete air, accommodation, cruise, car and package reservations through various industry reservation systems

  • Curate, plan and customize personal travel itineraries and experiences

  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service and quality control

  • Provide accurate and detailed quotes in a timely manner

  • Advise clients with complex travel information including required documentation and visas, insurance options and destination and product information

  • Handle general office and administrative duties with efficiency

  • Provide assistance and support to team members
